About the Role

The Caseworker will be responsible for managing assigned projects and/or cases, adhering to general company processes, and providing telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies. This includes implementing call-centre programs, administering case-management protocols, and documenting activities in program-specific databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects and/or cases, ensuring adherence to company processes and protocols.
  • Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies, including resolving funding and access issues.
  • Administer case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, and patient follow-up.
  • Implement pharmaceutical and biotechnology-related market research initiatives with physicians, patients, pharmacists, or other allied health professionals.
  • Document all activities in program-specific databases.
  • Participate in ongoing refresher training and specialized training courses as required.
  • Provide feedback on current protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, colleagues, and program-trained staff regarding case management during absences.
  • Contribute to the training process of new caseworkers, including shadowing and call monitoring.
  • Report all Adverse Events to assigned units/departments.

Requirements

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations, obtained through completion of a two-year associate's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
  • Ability to multitask, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry.
  • Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system.
