About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Sirat Truck Repair Inc. as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units and systems.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer's specifications and industry standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
