About the Role

MJS Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on production and other key performance indicators.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our truck drivers.
  • Activity Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our drivers are aware of and comply with these regulations.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions, as needed.
  • Asset Management: Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles, and requisition or order materials and supplies as required.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
