About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at North Point CPAs LLP. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, and analyzing clients' financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, and analyze clients' financial records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Accounting Systems: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, and develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control, and review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
