About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geostructural Design Engineer to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering Design group, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for bridge infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the design of bridges, including buried bridges, abutments, footings, and retainer walls, as well as soundwalls and internationally.
  • Support research and development of new products and technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve design, fabrication, and construction issues, with a focus on cost and risk management.
  • Assist in the training and development of co-op students and designers.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree, preferably with a Master's degree, and expertise in structural and/or geotechnical engineering.
  • Knowledge of soil-structure interaction and finite element analysis (FEA) in geotechnical or structural engineering.
  • 1-2 years of engineering experience is an asset.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills are required.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
