Industrial Equipment Repair Technician

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Barrick's Goldstrike operation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our roaster area equipment, including pumps, piping, and vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on processing equipment, including pumps, piping, and vessels
- Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance routes to identify and address potential issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, including gearboxes and pumps
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Four (4) years of experience in industrial maintenance or two (2) years of maintenance school (completed with certificate)
- Demonstrated ability to work from blueprints and drawings
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job
