About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized Maintenance Worker to join our team at Providentia Consulting Limited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Management: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; advertise vacancy and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants; perform safety and security checks; supervise other workers; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; work with minimal supervision; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
