Job Title: Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Providentia Consulting Limited. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Management: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Customer Service: Advertise vacancy, contact contractors for repairs and maintenance, perform safety and security checks, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, and supervise other workers.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
