About the Role

Bassi Glass Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting glaziers with various tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist glaziers with loading and unloading construction materials, such as glass, tools, and equipment.
  • Transportation: Safely transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Asphalt Paving: Assist with paving and raking asphalt, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Construction Site Support: Provide support to glaziers and other construction team members, as needed, to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Environment: This position involves working outdoors in various locations, including rural areas.
  • Work Setting: You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Physical Capabilities: You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a candidate with excellent client focus, flexibility, reliability, and a hardworking attitude.
