About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Developer to join our team at BQ International Ltd. as an Integration Developer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, deploy, and support new and existing API solutions to integrate various platforms and systems.
  • Develop SOAP & REST API-based integrations for cloud and on-premises applications to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Design, develop, test, and document custom data integration solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Analysts and Business Users to convert business requirements and specifications into technical designs.
  • Under the direction of the Integration Lead, understand and follow best practices when developing integration processes to ensure data quality and cleanliness.
  • Maintain the availability and reliability of the integration system/solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Identify, debug, and advise on system errors to resolve technical issues.
  • Work on agile project and operational software teams to deliver solutions that enable important business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent mix of training and experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience as an Integration Developer.
  • Experience with Informatica is preferred, but experience with a similar platform would also be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of API security design (Auth 2.0, JWT, service accounts) considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Logic Apps and API Management considered an asset.
  • Experience with source control tools such as Azure DevOps considered an asset.
  • Experience with Master Data Management and Data Quality tools considered an asset.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Postman considered an asset.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira are considered an asset.
  • Experience in SharePoint, Salesforce, or Power Platform considered an asset.
  • Experience with C# and.NET considered an asset.
  • A professional and positive attitude and approach to work.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, manage and evaluate job tasks.
