Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at BC Liquor Stores. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Control costs and manage inventory levels to ensure efficient store operations
- Develop and implement operational plans to improve store performance and customer satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure a high-performing team
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent certificate
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience leading a team within a customer-facing retail operation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in business or retail management
- Experience working in a government or regulatory environment
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Experience working in the cannabis industry
