We are collaborating with a prominent firm recognized for its excellence in various sectors. They are currently seeking a skilled Lead Architectural Technologist to enhance their dynamic team. This organization is celebrated for its commitment to outstanding service delivery and innovative design solutions.

THE ROLE
As a seasoned Architectural Technologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing detailed working drawing packages and construction documentation for submissions and tenders.

• Engaging with clients throughout different project phases to ensure satisfaction and alignment with their vision.

• Assisting in the establishment and maintenance of project budgets and timelines.

• Overseeing the preparation of technical drawings by junior architects and professionals.

• Creating and delivering client presentations, showcasing design concepts and technical drawings.

• Ensuring that all construction documentation adheres to quality assurance, quality control, and best practice standards.

• Mentoring and guiding junior technical staff, leading a team of technologists.

• Preparing documentation for permit applications.

• Participating in team meetings to address project challenges, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure adherence to schedules.

• Engaging in project reviews to evaluate costs, budgets, and timelines.

• Communicating effectively and professionally at all times, both verbally and in writing, with regular client interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Diverse project experience across various sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of national building codes and regulations.
  • Proficient in BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
  • Excellent client liaison skills.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio of technical drawings during the hiring process.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
