At CareerBeacon, we are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Community Support and Services team as Executive Director. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges, and substance use issues.
About the RoleThe Executive Director will be responsible for leading a team that delivers integrated health and housing services, supporting individuals with long-term mental health and substance use challenges. This role oversees the Clinic's operations, ensuring that its mission and values are reflected in every service provided.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, management, and performance reviews to clinic project staff, including recruitment, contract signing, salary administration, and scheduling.
- Operational Planning and Administration: Identify and recommend facilities, staff, and equipment needs with supporting documentation.
- Prepare and communicate accurate and timely analysis of grants and fundraising results, variances, and performance trends.
- Coordinate and lead budget reviews and periodic forecasts for each project area.
- Oversee financial management in accordance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Community Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with community, business, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed, fostering collaboration and support.
- Engage in proactive media and community outreach through various channels such as social media, print, radio, TV, and involvement in local committees and councils.
We are seeking a candidate with at least five (5) years of not-for-profit management or supervisory experience, ideally in the public or social welfare sector. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Administration, Social Sciences, Social Work, Health, Planning, etc.) is required. The ideal candidate will have strong financial, operational, and administrative management skills, as well as the ability to take initiative and move projects forward.
