Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales tasks and responsibilities to ensure that the store is running smoothly and that customers are being served promptly.
- Authorize Payments and Merchandise Returns: Process payments and authorize returns of merchandise, ensuring that all transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Order and Manage Inventory: Oversee the ordering and management of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are displayed attractively.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage Cash and Payroll: Oversee the management of cash and payroll, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Regularly review the performance of sales associates and provide feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
