About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metalworking Machine Operator to join our team at Ruscana Intertrade Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and erect scaffolding for heavy metalworking jobs, ensuring a safe and stable working environment.
  • Clean and maintain machinery and equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Operate various machines and equipment to shape and form metal stock into parts or products, including cutting, bending, rolling, reaming, punching, drilling, welding, soldering, bolting, screwing, and riveting.
  • Position and adjust dies on anvil of forging machinery to produce high-quality metal products.
  • Remove metal pieces from furnaces when they reach the optimal forging temperature.
  • Select and transport materials to the work area manually or using cranes or hoists.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
  • Work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in metalworking or a related field.
