About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will be responsible for providing support to our pharmacists and technicians in the dispensing of medications, processing customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists and technicians with prescription assembly, data entry, and customer transactions
- Process customer requests for prescription refills, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and inventory
- Assist with compounding, pill packing, and filing prescriptions
- Perform administrative duties, including cycle counts, narcotic counts, and return to stocks
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards and policies
- Pharmacy Assistant diploma from a recognized Canadian College
- 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
