About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at PJ Atlantic Restaurants (Moncton) Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and physical demands.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
