Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet the company's quality standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 to 50 hours per week.
The Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, with a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
