Job Title: Truck and Transport Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at JP SEKHON TRANSPORT LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial transport trucks and trailers. This includes adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components, inspecting and testing mechanical units, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
Requirements:
  • Experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and quality. They will be required to work in a shop environment and may be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
