About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: This role will involve working in the employer's/client's home, providing care and support to children in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens, bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, organizing activities such as games and outings for children, preparing and serving nutritious meals, preparing infants and children for rest periods, supervising and caring for children, and tending to their emotional well-being.
  • Target Audience: The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising and caring for a multi-aged group of children.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role will involve repetitive tasks, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Screening Questions: The successful candidate will be required to answer screening questions, including their ability to work in Canada and their language proficiency in English.
