Position Overview

The role of a Structural Engineering Technician at Grounded Engineering involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a College or CEGEP program in a relevant field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the formulation of engineering specifications and detailed drawings.
  • Engage in field surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
  • Compile construction specifications, along with cost and material estimates.
  • Draft engineering designs and detailed schematics.
  • Develop project timelines and schedules.
  • Oversee or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials.
  • Provide expert consultation services to governmental bodies and other organizations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Requires a high level of attention to detail.
Personal Attributes
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience Level
  • Between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
