About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Financial Planning to join our team at CLIO. As a key member of our Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will play a critical role in driving stakeholder and shareholder value by developing the operating and financial plans required to achieve our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Partnership & Cost Management:
    Partner with senior business leaders to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial performance. Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process, with a focus on operating expenses and cash flow and balance sheet management. Analyze financial data to identify trends and risks, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Financial Modeling & Reporting:
    Develop and maintain complex financial models that can be readily adapted to support external stakeholders with a deep understanding of financial metrics. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports, and communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders. Lead the FP&A Business Partnerships team in maintaining strong data governance, and reporting practices.
  3. Strategic Investments & Analysis:
    Lead the evaluation of potential investments and acquisitions, conducting financial modeling and scenario analysis. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop new metrics to track progress towards strategic goals. Support the leadership team with data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a leadership role within FP&A.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with cost management and headcount planning initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining financial models that have been used to support external financial audiences, such as potential investors or lenders.
