Pharmacy Support Specialist

As a Pharmacy Support Specialist at MedSavvy Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient care and optimizing pharmacy workflows.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience.
This position is based in a pharmacy or drugstore setting, where you will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
- Process billing for third-party insurers accurately.
- Handle claims related to health insurance and workers' compensation.
- Maintain adequate supplies and manage inventory effectively.
- Support healthcare professionals in their daily tasks.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be involved in initiatives aimed at supporting newcomers and refugees:
- Assist with immediate settlement needs, including housing and transportation.
- Engage with individuals displaced by conflicts or natural disasters.
- Facilitate foreign credential recognition for newcomers.
