Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at MedSavvy Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling and workflow to ensure efficient operation of the pharmacy
  • Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
  • Maintain supplies and inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Assist healthcare professionals with tasks and duties as needed
  • Support newcomers and refugees with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and childcare
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Work setting: Pharmacy or drugstore
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
