Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager

Canacre is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our planning and permitting activities for various infrastructure development, renewable energy, telecommunications, and other rights-of-way projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the submission of planning and permitting applications, prepare reports and schedules, and communicate with clients on planning and permitting deliverables.
  • Review land use planning legislation and liaise with municipalities and other government entities to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Manage direct reports, provide regular feedback, coaching, and assignment of work, establishment of goals, and formal reviews.
  • Provide expertise and leadership relating to project tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Postgraduate education in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional Planning and/or permitting experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure, renewable, telecommunications, and/or other right-of-way projects in Ontario.
  • Experience with leading a team considered an asset.
  • Experience working in US jurisdictions is considered an asset.
  • Working knowledge of local land use approval processes, the Planning Act, and other related Provincial legislation and plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
