About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at County Place Early Learning and Care Centre. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Provide high-quality care and supervision to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the childcare centre.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
