Atomic Cartoons Inc. is a celebrated animation studio with a rich history spanning 25 years, recognized for its innovative 2D and CG animation projects. With locations in Vancouver, Ottawa, and Los Angeles, we pride ourselves on fostering a creative and supportive environment for artists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a variety of characters, settings, environments, or props for CG productions
  • Adhere to the established production workflow efficiently
  • Engage in departmental discussions and collaborate with fellow team members
  • Follow guidance from the Art Director while meeting production timelines

Qualifications:

  • A robust portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of artistic principles and a range of styles
  • Exceptional visual acuity with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in CG animated features or television series is advantageous
  • A background in designing backgrounds and environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with Maya and Blender is beneficial
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

At Atomic, we offer flexible work arrangements, including remote options within BC, as well as hybrid and in-studio possibilities. We provide competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage and a Group Retirement Savings Plan. Wage ranges are determined based on a weekly rate.

Vancouver Pay Range: $950—$1,400 CAD
