Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Supply and empty bed pans to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients to ensure their nutritional needs are met
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients to prevent injury and promote comfort
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to create a comfortable and welcoming environment
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility
  • Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients to promote personal hygiene and dignity
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher to facilitate mobility and access to care
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond promptly to their requests
  • Collect specimens for laboratory testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations to ensure patient safety and well-being
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate to ensure knowledge and skills in emergency response
  • CPR Certificate to demonstrate proficiency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 32 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
