Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Tool and Die Maker Apprentice** to join our team at **Precision Tool & Die Inc.** This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the machining industry.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Work Environment

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify machined components for compliance with specifications.
  • Program and operate CNC machine tools effectively.
  • Interpret and read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Produce machine castings to create metal molds, core boxes, and precisely shaped models.
  • Set up and operate electrical discharge machines (EDM).
  • Assemble and shape patterns from metal, wood, plastic, and other materials based on blueprints or templates.
  • Secure and measure metal stock or castings for machining layout.
  • Operate both conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
