CNC Machining Specialist

Armstrong World Industries is seeking a talented CNC Machining Specialist to become a vital part of our production team. The CNC Machining Specialist will operate under the guidance of the Production Manager and will be tasked with developing intricate 3D programs for CNC routers, utilizing detailed shop drawings.

  • Develop 3D programming for both 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, employing Mastercam 22 or newer versions
  • Engage in close collaboration with engineers, internal process partners, CNC operators, Project Managers, as well as external clients and suppliers
  • Support project teams in the assembly of prototypes
  • Possess a Technical College Diploma or Certificate with a concentration in CNC Programming
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC and CAD within a comparable position
  • Demonstrate proficiency in solid modeling through CNC and CAD software
  • Exhibit knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing methodologies
  • Have experience with 3D software applications such as Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD
  • Bring prior experience as a CNC machine operator
