Jace Holdings Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Specialist to join our National Corporate Sustainability team. This role is crucial in driving impactful changes aligned with our environmental commitments, ensuring that progress is measurable and tracked effectively. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Sustainability, the Specialist will collaborate with various internal teams and external partners. This position requires a hybrid work model, with an in-office presence three times a week, and is structured as a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders to gather, calculate, review, analyze, and organize over 140 Environmental Social Governance (ESG) metrics for both internal reporting and external disclosures.
  • Serve as the primary contact for business units regarding ESG metrics and data.
  • Oversee the project management of the annual Sustainable Business Report publication, ensuring successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and address gaps in ESG-related activities and disclosures by engaging with internal teams.
  • Lead initiatives to educate and raise awareness about ESG metrics and processes.
  • Manage the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory for both calendar and fiscal year data, supporting consultants in emission calculations.
  • Develop a streamlined system for GHG data collection and accounting.
  • Guide the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net Zero submission and validation process.
  • Evaluate new ESG frameworks and standards, providing informed recommendations.
  • Establish and manage a centralized database for tracking ESG-related metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sustainability-related field, particularly in GHG accounting and reporting.
  • Master's Degree in climate science, environmental studies, sustainability, data analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, database management, and data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills for delivering reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent research abilities and resourcefulness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Innovative mindset with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Positive attitude and an optimistic outlook.
