Position Overview

The role of the Restaurant Manager at Avani Indian Bistro Burlington is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment. This position requires a strong leader who can manage various aspects of the restaurant while providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain stock levels to ensure efficient service.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and other necessary supplies.
  • Catering Coordination: Negotiate with clients regarding catering services and facility usage.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
