We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Giorgi Bros (1994) Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Formwork and Materials Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Concrete Placement and Finishing: Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to precise specifications, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Surface Preparation and Repair: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power vibrators to compact concrete and other equipment as needed.
- Quality Control: Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
This is a physically demanding role that requires working on various locations, often on the road. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English or French. The work schedule is 40 hours per week.
