Position Overview: The Temporary Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all elements of the client experience within a designated Sephora location. This position regularly contributes to client service, maintaining sales floor standards, team leadership, and all service-related areas, including the Beauty, Skin, and Fragrance Studio, as well as beauty classes offered in-store. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the development of Beauty Advisors and Senior Artistry and Skincare roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training & Development: Implement training programs for new hires and existing team members. Lead orientation and sales model training sessions whenever feasible.
  • Sales Experience: Ensure all team members comprehend and effectively apply Sephora's sales model, Celebrate Beauty, along with its guiding principles.
  • Client Engagement: Respond promptly to all client feedback for the store. Address all client-related issues and feedback from various sources. Regularly act as the Manager on Duty, engaging with team members and clients on the sales floor.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Recognize store goals, opportunities, and trends, ensuring all team members are aligned with these objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Two to four years of experience in a similar role at a comparable volume store or equivalent internal experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence business partners at all levels clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to build teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop staff to drive sales and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Demonstrated leadership on the sales floor, coaching and training team members while guiding them to success through company initiatives.

Compensation: The salary range is CAD $70,000 - $88,000. The final pay will depend on various factors, including qualifications and experience, as well as other legitimate business considerations relevant to the position.
