The Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure-track Tier 2 Canada Research Chair appointment in Community-Based Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The successful candidate will lead a research program examining the role of community-based entrepreneurship and innovation in sustainable economic and societal growth, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop world-leading research programs in community-based business studies
- Establish a robust graduate program in community-based business studies
- Lead entrepreneurial thought and action at the University of Saskatchewan, integrating collaborations with communities to advance impactful entrepreneurship research
- Collaborate with the Business Research Integration Group at Edwards, or BRIDGE, to facilitate connections between researchers, industry, and community partners
- Conduct research in community-based entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly in rural, remote, and Indigenous areas in Saskatchewan
Requirements:
- Hold or be near completion of a doctoral degree in entrepreneurship, management, or a relevant field
- Demonstrate potential for excellence, creativity, and leadership in research
- Meet the eligibility criteria for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair
