Role Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Services Representative to enhance our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate processing and verification of received payments, along with bank deposit reconciliation.
  • Prepare, compile, and distribute invoices, statements, reports, and cheques.
  • Record and post broker billing statements and payments within the accounting system.
  • Reconcile basic accounts and address outstanding amounts.
  • Review daily cash reports, make necessary corrections to journal entries, and process cheque requisitions.
  • Verify and post banking information, review new business, adjust payment schedules, and manage premium refunds.
  • Address unresolved issues related to payments, disbursements, billing arrangements, and account discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proven ability to maintain high accuracy and volume in work output.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in standard office applications with excellent data entry capabilities.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
