The Cape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesiologist. This full-time role is available for a qualified candidate who possesses certification from the Royal College of Canada and is eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will join a team of seven Anesthesiologists serving a diverse population of over 150,000 within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.

Cape Breton Regional Hospital is a 250-bed tertiary care facility offering a comprehensive range of medical services to patients in the Eastern Zone of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. The Anesthesiology department is well-equipped to deliver specialized care across various medical needs.

• Provide comprehensive anesthetic care to patients within the Eastern Zone, including participation in on-call duties.
• Report to the Zone Department Head of Anesthesia regarding professional responsibilities and quality of practice, adhering to the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

• Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
