Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Insulator Journeyperson to join our team for a heavy industry project. As an Insulator Journeyperson, you will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing thermal and acoustical insulation on industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, remove, and repair thermal and acoustical insulation on industrial equipment, including duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and vessels.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Meet safety protocols and regulations, including confined space entry and fall protection.
  • Participate in pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Insulator certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Insulator in a heavy industrial or construction setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
