Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at the NOVA Chemicals site in Alberta. As an Insulator Journeyperson, you will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing thermal and acoustical insulation on industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply, remove, and repair thermal and acoustical insulation on industrial equipment, including duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, and vessels.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Meet safety protocols and maintain a strong commitment to safety practices.
  • Provide excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Insulator certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Insulator in a heavy industrial or construction setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder.
  • CSTS-2020 certification.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
