Position Overview

Kal Tire is on the lookout for a dedicated Commercial Tire Technician to enhance our dynamic team. This role involves both in-shop and field service, providing essential support to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and execute service tasks on commercial tires and wheels, including the removal of wheel assemblies, tire dismounting, balancing, inflation, installation, and diagnostics.
  • Perform regular tire inspections and maintenance to guarantee optimal tire pressure, tread condition, and overall performance.
  • Respond to service requests for tire-related emergencies involving commercial vehicles.
  • Engage with clients in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their tire-related inquiries and offering tailored advice based on their vehicle specifications and operational needs.
  • Clearly communicate the services rendered and any further recommendations for maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Experience with medium truck, agricultural, and industrial tire services is advantageous.
  • Strong focus on detail and precision in executing tire services.
  • Self-motivated individual committed to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Enjoy building positive relationships and maintaining long-term client connections.
  • Capable of thriving in a physically demanding role, including lifting up to 50 lbs at shoulder height.
  • Safety-conscious, willing to adhere to all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety protocols.

Work Schedule

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the requirement for after-hours service availability.
