We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic French speaker to join our team as a part-time French teacher/tutor/coach at Oxford Learning Oakville Uptown-Core. As a French teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop their self-confidence and self-esteem by providing them with a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach French to students of all ages and levels, from Grade 1 to 12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
  • Use the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies to guide students' understanding and progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Strong background in spoken and written French and English
  • Ability to teach up to a Grade 9 level, with a preference for up to Grade 12
  • Comfortable teaching in a small group setting
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to working during after-school and evening hours
