Job Title: Analyst, Rebates

Resolute Forest Products is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Analyst, Rebates to join our dynamic team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

About the Role:

This full-time permanent position reports to the Supervisor, Sales Accounting and is responsible for creating commercial agreements in our system, preparing payments to customers, and closely monitoring payment provisions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for balancing payments with provisions, revising provisions accordingly, and analyzing agreements to ensure optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create commercial agreements in the system
  • Prepare payments to customers
  • Closely monitor payment provisions
  • Balance payments with provisions and revise provisions accordingly
  • Analyze agreements and act as a resource person for their development
  • Communicate with internal and external auditors to ensure all documentation required under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act is provided in a timely fashion
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of business administration with a finance or accounting major
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, experience with a large business would be an asset
  • CPA designation would be an asset
