Position Overview:

The role of Part-time Territory Coordinator is integral to the merchandising team, reporting directly to the Territory Manager. This position plays a vital role in assisting with the execution of product initiatives across designated accounts and collaborating with merchandising staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training for both new and existing team members on merchandising protocols and practices.
  • Monitor and ensure that merchandising staff adhere to scheduled visits and hours to remain within budgetary constraints.
  • Support the maintenance team by filling in during employee absences due to vacations or illness.
  • Engage in shelf assessments, merchandising layout adjustments, relocations, and the setup of new stores in the assigned territories as necessary.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in addressing store-related challenges to guarantee compliance with current priorities.

Communication Proficiencies:

  • Maintain regular communication with the Territory Manager and team members to stay updated on forthcoming programs and in-store activities.
  • Exhibit strong communication abilities to comprehend, convey, and clarify job-related instructions and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Account Manager, representing Hallmark, to identify challenges, propose solutions, and keep the Territory Manager informed.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with merchandising staff and account managers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of high school education.
  • Experience in retail is preferred.
  • Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Comprehensive understanding of smartphone technology and efficient email management.
