We are currently seeking an Accounting Technician to contribute to our operations. This is a permanent, full-time position with additional hours during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the preparation of accounting engagements, including adjusting journal entries, financial statements, and corporate income tax returns.
  2. Support client bookkeeping tasks.
  3. Assist in the preparation of personal income tax returns, T4, WCB, and T5 filings.
  4. Contribute to various projects and administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience in an accounting or administrative environment.
  2. Familiarity with software such as Caseware, TaxPrep, Profile, Doc-it, QBO, Xero, and/or Microsoft Suite is advantageous.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  4. Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing to meet deadlines.
  5. Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems within the role's scope.
