Long Haul Truck Operator

Education Requirements: Completion of secondary (high) school education or equivalent experience is necessary.
Experience Level: Candidates should have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience.
Licensing and Certifications: A valid AZ class license is required for this role.
Security and Safety Standards: A valid passport is mandatory for this position.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage a large workload, and the willingness to work overtime. It is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks, primarily in a seated position.
Personal Attributes: Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, sound judgment, organizational skills, reliability, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and patience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Collaborate with a partner in a two-person team or convoy.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently.
- Operate and drive both straight and articulated trucks for the transportation of goods and materials.
- Inspect the vehicle's condition, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other essential equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all vehicle aspects.
- Communicate and relay information to central dispatch effectively.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo through proper tarping techniques.
