Position Overview

Join Young's Industrial Refrigeration as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment to excellence in service and technical skills.

Work Environment
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a relevant field
Site Conditions
  • Exposure to noisy environments

Job Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain refrigeration systems
  • Set up ventilation and air conditioning systems
  • Interpret technical blueprints and instructions
  • Measure and establish reference points for installations
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Assemble and install components for refrigeration systems
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct system start-ups and leak tests
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including refrigerant recharging
  • Handle and store refrigerants safely
  • Repair and replace parts in refrigeration and air conditioning systems
Technical Expertise
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
Safety and Security
  • Criminal record check required
Physical Requirements
  • Physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
