Produce Stocker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and appearance of our produce department, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
- Ensuring that merchandise is properly signed and priced, adhering to company standards and policies.
- Adhering to food safety and handling procedures, as well as sanitation and cleaning protocols, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensuring that the department is fully stocked with merchandise.
- Stocking merchandise, picking, and downstocking as required, while applying product protection when necessary.
- Setting and completing modulars, including flex modulars, and setting new shelf caps to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
- Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service and retail experience.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a retail or customer service role, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
