Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and organizing the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adhering to strict standards and policies for cold chain compliance, temperature recording, and food handling procedures.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and product rotation.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stocking merchandise, picking, and downstocking as required, while applying product protection when necessary.
