Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Fintech team and contribute to the development of sophisticated backend systems that power Hopper's award-winning user experience. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside talented engineers and partner with product, design, and data science to prioritize, estimate, and implement new product features in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and deploy high-quality backend systems that power Hopper's travel technology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement new product features
  • Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our engineering practices
Requirements
  • Experience in Scala or other JVM languages (such as Kotlin or Java) with demonstrated experience in a production setting
  • Experience in frontend technologies like AngularJs, ReactJS
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
