Capital Markets Project Lead

Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple projects in the Capital Markets division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on delivering solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage meetings, status reports, and reporting to steering committees and working groups
  • Lead an agile team and hold scrum meetings
  • Facilitate KPIs and measure productivity within the team
  • Report project status, roadblocks, and milestones to project stakeholders and sponsors
  • Assist in business analysis duties, including creating flowcharts, diagrams, and documentation
  • Manage multiple projects, including Reconciliation, TBricks, and Zeus
  • Communicate with vendors, stakeholders, system architects, development staff, QAs, BAs, and other PMs
  • Provide guidance to the project team to ensure efforts are aligned to project delivery goals
  • Define project control processes, stakeholder management processes, and project gating documents in adherence to bank EPMO standards
  • Focus on governance processes, ensuring projects are moving through the appropriate channels and driving initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years' experience as a project manager in developing solutions within Capital Markets
  • Experience with a combination of infrastructure and application development projects
  • Proven expertise delivering multiple small projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science or computer engineering

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with projects related to Kafka/NiFi and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of mid-office and settlement processes
  • PMI/PMP designations
